Mac Hohenberger started his career at Argyle Fire District in 1991. During this time Chief Hohenberger worked his way up in the chain of command serving in each officer role. In 2000 Chief Hohenberger was promoted to Fire Chief by the AFD Board of Directors. Under Chief Hohenberger’s leadership, the AFD established its EMS transport service and purchased its first ambulance in the year 2000 and began the combination full-time, part-time, volunteer program.
Assistant Fire Chief
Michael Lugo began his career with Argyle Fire District in 2002. During this time he worked his way up the ranks from firefighter to Assistant Fire Chief. Chief Lugo also oversees fire prevention and training programs within our organization. Chief Lugo is a former member of Texas Task Force 1 (Swift Water Rescue). He has a Bachelors degree in Fire Administration and an Associates degree in Fire Science. Chief Lugo is a member of the Denton County Fire Chiefs Association and proudly accepted the duties as Training officer Laison for the organization.
Division Chief | EMS & Training
Cody Miller is a Nationally Registered Paramedic as well as a Licensed Paramedic in the State of Texas. He holds an Advanced level firefighter certification with the T.C.F.P. 10 years ago he started out as a volunteer Firefighter/EMT-basic for the Krum Fire Department and joined the Argyle Fire District family 8 years ago. Cody has an Associate of Applied Science from North Central Texas College in Paramedicine and Associate of Applied Science in Fire Protection and Safety Technology from Weatherford College. He and his wife, Amy, reside in Argyle, Texas with their 3 boys Caden, Grayson and Deacon..
Jaime joined the organization in 2017 as the critical role of Administrative assistant.
